At the end of last week, Chess rolled out a revamped, revitalized website that brings a more streamlined user interface design and process to our customers and future customers. After being in business for over 30 years, Chess has developed many strong relationships with customers. However, as our account managers were talking with existing customers we were finding that Chess was not doing a good job of keeping our customer’s up to date on the various services that we offered. Customers still thought of Chess as a Reseller when for many years we have moved beyond reselling “goods” and have built a staff to support our customers in a much more signficant, solutions based methodology. The look and feel of the new website is only the first stage in assuring that we are meeting the complete needs of our customer base and that we are encouraging new customers to make sound decisions when approaching technology as a business solution.

Chess has incorporated many new and popular technologies to ensure that we are able to deliver on our promise of quality service for the Denver and surrounding areas. I would encourage new and existing customers to look around the website and prepare for more changes. We are currently working on revamping our customer portal so that in addition to providing a portal to manage the solutions you have implemented with Chess we can provide a single point to access account history, sales, service and more. Our customers have asked for full functionality and Chess has heard the request.

We have always been customer centric but Chess wants to ensure that we are meeting all of our customer’s needs. We can accomplish this by delivering the same great services we always have but ensure that our customers know how robust and detailed our support options are. While we may have cut our teeth on printer and copier devices, Chess has been providing expanded Infrastructure Management services, data storage, virtualization, disaster recovery and other technology solutions. We are looking forward to working with existing and new customer’s alike and helping our customers implement technology solutions that make sense.
